History

The Bronte was built in 1822 for the honourable Mr Caleb Soul of Soul Paterson Pharmacy fame. This fabulous residence was built on Lot 1 Swan Street Morpeth and named after Admiral Nelson the Earl of Bronte.

The Bronte was purchased by the current owner in 2014 and completely refurbished to its current luxury standard with an eclectic fusion of Victorian and Asian antiques.

The owner has a passion for service and food and has recently added catered functions to The Bronte’s agenda and an exquisite Afternoon Tea menu.
