The Bronte was built in 1822 for the honourable Mr Caleb Soul of Soul Paterson Pharmacy fame. This fabulous residence was built on Lot 1 Swan Street Morpeth and named after Admiral Nelson the Earl of Bronte.
The Bronte was purchased by the current owner in 2014 and completely refurbished to its current luxury standard with an eclectic fusion of Victorian and Asian antiques.
For the comfort of all guests The Bronte and grounds are a Smoke Free Zone. NB. smoking onsite inside the hotel or guest suites will incur a $500 cleaning fee. Check-in 2-5pm - Check - out 10am - outside of these hours by arrangement only and subject to availability.
BOOKING CHANNELS PAYMENT POLICY: full payment of all reservations made through AGODA, BDC, EXPEDIA AND WOTIF on making a reservation and usually processed within 48hrs of booking and is non refundable despite what may be advertised on the channels websites.
FULL HOUSE BOOKINGS - require 50% of the tariff or one nights tarrif if a one night reservation is made at time of booking - a security deposit of $1,000 is also payable 48hrs before check-in as a preauthorised hold on your nominated credit card and will be released after check-out and the property has been inspected and cleaned - please see our payment terms for more information. Unfortunately we can not cater for children under 12 years old - unless the whole house is booked.
